“I received the A5 clippers in a couple days after order. Oiled the blades and immediately started a trim on both my large dogs. One is long hair about 4 inches and the other is short hair about 1 inch. They still had their winter undercoats. These clippers trimmed both dogs like I was cutting butter. Perfect! The heads do get a little warm so you might want to give your pet a break halfway through to allow them to cool a bit. Also, using the #10 blade (which is very close cropped), be sure to pull your pet’s skin tight as you cut to avoid cutting into a “roll” of skin. So having a second person to help is recommended.
