“I was shocked at how well this thing works. I used my upright vacuum on my stairs first then went over them again with the the Bissell and could not believe how much dog and cat hair it got up so I moved to my sofa which has always been hard to get the hair off and it worked like a charm. “I just got this hand held vacuum yesterday, but already I can see how useful it will. It has strong suction, is lightweight to use, and I like the choice between the hard attachment (for hard surfaces) and the soft attachment for plush surfaces. I have two cats and allergies – cat litter easily gets all over the place but this little number is quick to pick it up, as well as drawing cat hair out of my couch.

Two minor, picky complaints: While the handle is very comfortable when using, it is quite tall, so I can’t get the vacuum under my bed or under a bookshelf. I wish it were a tad shorter or adjustable. The other minor issue is that it is a little messy to empty the chamber – the filter falls out easily so you have to be careful.
