As with many marine Angels, the Koran exhibits striking differences between adult and juvenile forms. Juvenile Korans have a black body with narrow blue and white markings that arch toward the rear of the body. There is a distinct white half circle marking near the tail. The adult Koran has a greenish-brown body with a wide, lighty colored vertical band with blue spots covering its sides, and a blue outline on the gill cover.

$54.95
The Powder Blue Tang is native to the Maldives and Sri Lanka. With a blue body accented by white and yellow fins, it is one of the most beautiful and well known Tangs. The black face intensifies the contrast. It’s more aggressive than other Tangs and only one should be kept unless your aquarium is extremely large and you introduce them at the same time. Also avoid other Tangs with the same body shape and coloring. Tangs are natural herbivores though they will eat meaty foods. At least three times per week it is suggested to offer marine algae and seaweed to maintain a healthy immune system, their temperament and vibrant color.
